Each NCL, Inc. Chapter promotes social awareness by considering the local community’s needs and selecting appropriate non-profit organizations to serve.  Each Chapter then supports its philanthropic service partners through different volunteer activities.  Philanthropies supported by our Chapter include:

Boys and Girls Country (BGC)

Boys and Girls Country was established in 1971 as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charity whose mission is to change the lives of children from families in crisis by loving and nurturing them in a Christian home environment, raising them to become self-sustaining and contributing adults. Children are from the greater Houston area, which include 11 counties.


Their purpose at Cy-Hope is to rally the entire community around the goal of bringing hope and opportunity to every child in the Cy-Fair area. They understand the main economic drivers that move people into our area are education and sports. Their goal is to help each and every Cy-Fair school become an Exemplary School making a lasting and positive impact on the community of Cy-Fair.

Habitat For Humanity

Houston Habitat for Humanity has an open-door policy: All who believe that everyone needs a decent, affordable place to live are welcome to help with the work, regardless of race, religion, age, gender, political views or any of the other distinctions that too often divide people. In short, Habitat welcomes volunteers and supporters from all backgrounds and also serves people in need of decent housing regardless of race or religion.

Houston Food Bank (HFB)

As a member of the nation’s largest non-governmental, domestic hunger relief organization – Feeding America – their goal is to make food accessible to hungry people in their greatest times of need. The vision for the future is to expand service to the community to 100,000,000 nutritious meals by 2018.

Willowbrook Residence & Rehabilitation Center

Willowbrook Residence & Rehabilitation has two separate groups, rehabilitation patients and residential care. They are committed to providing vital medical care and rehabilitation in a warm and caring environment.

Cy-Fair Educational Foundation

We raise funds to increase college access for graduates of Cy-Fair ISD by awarding scholarships and to promote excellence in teaching by providing staff development

Reach Unlimited

Reach Unlimited is dedicated to providing quality support services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Their mission is to create a sustainable, secure environment where people with developmental disabilities may become all they are created to be.

Santa Maria Hostel

Santa Maria Hostel is a residential substance abuse treatment facility that provides a home-like environment for women alone and with their children while in treatment. The mission of Santa Maria is to empower women and their families to lead healthy, successful, productive, and self-fulfilling lives.

Texas Wildlife Rehabilitation Coalition (TWRC)

TWRC Wildlife Center is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization operated by an efficient, dedicated volunteer and part-time staff consisting of permitted rehabilitators, students, seniors, professionals, and animal lovers. TWRC, as we are known, was Houston’s first urban wildlife emergency and rehabilitative care facility. Since our founding in 1979, we have had over 135,000 injured, orphaned, or ill wild animals pass through the hands of our caring volunteers.
